For 20 years Special Treats Productions has been building a reputation for excellence - from press junkets to broadcast programming. When the film industry wants coverage on television or the internet, it comes to us.
Event Coverage
& TV Production Services

We produce event coverage from Dublin to Moscow and from the Arctic Circle to Cape Town. Our team also has a major presence at Europe's major film festivals - Cannes, Venice and Berlin.
Programming
High-profile programmes, news reports and documentaries for broadcast television. The Special Treats Production Company also produces a wide range of DVD programming and web content.
- PROGRAMMES: We have been producing long form programming for television use for over 25 years.
Our material has been shown all over the world on major broadcasters and here in the UK on all the main channels – BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5 and Sky. In addition to one off specials looking at individual films, we have also produced several long running series of movie shows for Sky and Film Four.
- DVD CONTENT: Our work on Value Added Material (VAM), bonus features, directors’ commentaries can be found on a wide range of DVDs and Blu-ray discs from recent films like FANTASTIC MR FOX and CASINO ROYALE to special editions on classic films like GANDHI and A PASSAGE TO INDIA.
- WEB CONTENT: We have extensive experience of producing film related content for web use. The video content on the internet is both for film specific sites but also for major portals including You Tube, MSN, Amazon, Yahoo etc
QUANTUM OF SOLACE
The fourth 007 outing for Special Treats where once again, we provided all the behind the scenes coverage which included 5 newswraps, 32 web blogs and 3 half hour specials.

Another project with Wes Anderson, this time showing how he turned his unique eye on the world of animation.

Cemetery Junction
For their directorial debut, Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant asked us to produce a range of short pieces capturing their experience on set and, in the case of this piece, summarising the story.

The Question Mark Inside
Produced by Colin Burrows and the late Simon Channing Williams (this was the last project he produced before his untimely death), this one hour documentary for Sky Arts looked at the extraordinary work of Martin Firrell and his collaboration with St Pauls Cathedral.
Nanny McPhee & The Big Bang
We joined Emma Thompson once again on the set of NANNY MCPHEE producing a range of TV, web and DVD programming.
My Name Is Khan
Our experience and understanding of Bollywood is unique outside India. This piece for Fox on one of India’s most successful films ever, shared some of that knowledge with a wider audience.
Peepli Live
We work a great deal in India and this was one of a number of pieces we produced for Aamir Khan whose film was, once again, India's entry for the foreign language Oscar.
